Students of BA Final Semester can choose to submit an assignment for assessment in lieu of mid semester written exam on any

(one) of the following topic(s) :

1. What is a Geographical Region ? Discuss Types of Regions . Explain with suitable examples the Functional regions

What is a Planning region ? Discuss the methods of Delineation of a Planning Region ? Discus the Planning Regions of India 

with the help of diagrams

What are the Problem regions ? Explain in detail the Problem regions of India . 

                                                                                  OR

Discuss in detail The Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) as a Region 

The assignment on either of the topics provided above shall be submitted by the students once the lockdown is over and university re opens , in the Department of Geography.
